Here and Then, 2017. Sand and glass sourced from the construction of a domestic space. Directed by Carlo Van de Roer. Music by Joshua Eustis.
This is a 4k cut down of a seven minute film captured in-camera in a fraction of a second. Commissioned by Dolby for the 62ft wide screen in their San Francisco gallery.
Multiple light sources, moving at several times the speed of sound, are recorded simultaneously — each providing separate footage of the same moment.

Van de Roer and his studio, Satelitte Lab, created the in-camera look for the Valkyrie Flashback scene using their patended Dynamic Light technology.
